InTouch Nominee – Expectations
The InTouch nominee is a contingency support role, not a routine point of contact for parents. They must:
- Be available and contactable for the duration of the trip
- Have access to OSM (Where parent contact details are stored)
- Support leaders by handling outbound communications where required, particularly where:
- Multiple parents need to be contacted
- Information needs to be managed carefully and consistently
- Leaders are occupied with on-site incident management
